We are a fast-growing insurance / insurtech SaaS platform company helping insurance carriers manage their customer communications and document workflow automation.
We are seeking a talented mid-level Project Manager to join our SaaS implementation team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects related to our cutting-edge insurtech SaaS platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer success, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Location: Fully Remote (EST or CST preferred)
Job Duties:
- Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including scope definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates and reports
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless API integrations
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps to track progress and manage tasks
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
Ideal Background:
- 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in a SaaS environment, ideally from the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven experience managing API integrations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- PMP or other relevant certifications
