We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior IT Specialist to take the lead in optimizing our IT infrastructure! This exciting role focuses on managing cutting-edge Microsoft environments and delivering top-notch support to our dynamic, remote workforce.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain our Azure GCC High environment, ensuring robust security and efficient IT operations. This includes global administration tasks, user management, license assignment, and system configuration.
- Utilize endpoint security tools, such as CrowdStrike, to protect and manage devices across the organization.
- Oversee and manage Apple and Windows devices, ensuring they meet security standards and are properly configured for remote use.
- Perform regular patching and vulnerability scanning across all systems to mitigate potential risks.
- Act as the first line of defense by managing Help Desk tickets, escalating issues when necessary, and coordinating with the appropriate teams for resolution.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up user accounts for both commercial and federal customers, assigning licenses, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is shipped and configured properly.
- Track and manage software licenses and IT assets across the organization, ensuring compliance and optimal usage of resources.
- Provide comprehensive IT support to a globally distributed team, where 90% of users are remote workers, ensuring quick resolution of issues and minimal disruption.
- Work closely with the Information Security team and IT team to implement security controls, support compliance initiatives, and maintain a secure IT environment.
- Manage Zscaler ZIA for secure web access, including handling web filtering, exception management, and ensuring users have the access they need.
