Job Description: Clubhouse Manager
Direct Supervisor: Assistant General Manager/General Manager
Supervise Food and Beverage Director, Assistant Food and Beverage Managers, maintenance staff, servers, bartenders, food runners, banquet staff
Essential Duties:
Responsible for the management and supervision of all F&B, pool, tennis and maintenance staff.
Works closely with the F&B Director and Assistant F&B managers to hire, supervise, schedule, and train team members in delivering the “Hyperion Experience”.
Mentor, train, coach, and develop key staff to perform at the highest level possible, while also providing an enjoyable work atmosphere.
Ensure staff provide exceptional service at all time. Service excellence is the cornerstone of the “Hyperion Experience”.
Supervise and direct maintenance staff in daily duties.
Assist the Event Director in executing various events throughout the club.
Maximize food and beverage sales by identifying and targeting sales opportunities through marketing including promotions and special events.
Attends monthly house committee meetings and works directly with committee chair.
Maintain daily contact with the membership, relays any suggestions/complaints to other members of the management team.
Protects the club, the members, and guests by adhering to all safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage and alcohol beverage control policies.
Assist the Assistant GM and GM in preparing annual F&B budgets and reviewing monthly financial statements.
Monitors food, beverage, and labor cost/controls monthly within the clubhouse to assure effective practices and reviews them with the Assistant General Manager, and General Manager.
Works closely with the Executive Chef to facilitate a strong relationship between front and back of house operations.
Responsible for annual performance review of staff in assigned areas.

Qualifications:
Extensive F&B management experience in a country club setting.
“Hands on” leader who directly supervises the F&B department.
Ability to work well with others.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality preferred but not required.
