Manager, Honeywell Technology Experience Center
Hyperquake LLC (HQ), an independent strategy and experiential design studio is seeking to hire a Manager for the Honeywell Technology Experience Center (HTEC), an interactive visitor center showcasing Honeywell technology in Washington, DC. This position reports to the Managing Director, Storybuilding at HQ. The Manager is based at Honeywell’s Washington DC office as a full-time embedded employee that will be considered a member of Honeywell’s staff and Government Relations team while remaining employed and supervised by HQ.
The Manager is responsible for overall management of the HTEC toward maximized usage as a communication, relationship building, and sales enablement platform. This includes content creation, budget and resource management, providing tours for visitors, tracking success metrics related to content development, marketing, operations management and hospitality.
What we'd like you to bring to Hyperquake:
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Museum studies, Event management or related fields.
• 5 years in communications, public relations/public affairs, government relations or marketing role in a corporation, agency or government environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and PowerPoint
• Understanding of creative and production processes for presentations, video, photography, etc.
• Expert organizational and project management skills; a relentless attention to detail
• Strong communication/presentation skills. Fluent in written/spoken English, other languages a plus
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with executive briefing centers or visitor centers
• Proficiency with audio/video systems and PC-based computer systems
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with content management systems and database management tools such as Salesforce.com
• International relations and/or government relations a plus, particularly in industrial technology and manufacturing
