General Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and customers to deliver high-quality features and integrations for the BuilderGM Team. This role is focused on ensuring the seamless execution of projects, enhancing product capabilities, and driving value through continuous improvement of the Web and Mobile BuilderGM platforms. The QA Analyst servers as the gatekeeper, ensuring all new code is functioning as intended without defects. The QA will also take on the role of Scrum Master for dedicated teams, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and timely project delivery.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the Agile team adheres to Scrum principles and follows agreed-upon workflows.
- Track sprint progress and manage burndown charts to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Customer Support and Training:
- Create and/or maintain customer support documentation, help files, and user guides.
- Define data mapping, workflows, and integration points between BuilderGM and external systems.
- Quality Assurance Responsibilitie:
- Assists with the formulation of Quality Assurance (QA) strategies, processes, and deliverables
- Performs the complete testing cycle: develops test plans, test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria. Executes test scripts, tracks results, identifies and resolves issues
- Participates in design reviews with product management to understand the new enhancements
- Reviews design documents for clarity and advises product management regarding improvements to design documentation for testability
- Estimates testing efforts and timeline
- Analyzes test results and reports findings to product management and development
- Escalates issues to management as appropriate
- Assists with the documentation of quality assurance processes and testing methods in the form of process guides and testing manuals, or in other forms as needed
- Assists with troubleshooting issues in the production environment
- Displays strong professional skills including ability to quickly establish personal credibility with all levels of customer personnel, learns quickly, adapts to a variety of customer situations, and manages customer expectations
- Adheres to all Hyphen Solutions’ policies and procedures as well as quality assurance and testing methodology

- Bachelor Degree
- 1-3 years’ experience in a quality assurance and testing role
- 1-3 years’ experience working with BuilderGM or other similar Builder ERP platforms
- Knowledgeable in quality assurance techniques and practices
- Ability to develop and document new test cases including expected results
- Ability to execute existing tests and to analyze the results
- Ability to accurately plan and estimate testing efforts
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Experience testing mobile applications
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
- Ability to work independently while adding value to team projects and assisting in the achievement of department goals
- Excellent decision-making skills and issue resolution skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft platform and development tools preferred
- Knowledge of SQL and tools (e.g., Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer)
- Experience with utilizing automated testing tools preferred
- Knowledge and experience with ERP applications a plus
- Knowledge of job management, scheduling, procurement, or accounting systems a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft platform and development tools preferred (TFS – Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, etc.)
