About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Design System team and help build high-quality frontend experiences.
You will collaborate with design and product teams to develop reusable components, improve user interfaces, and contribute to the overall digital experience.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about modern frontend development, design systems, and test-driven development (TDD).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain reusable React components using TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
Contribute to the design system by building scalable UI components, writing documentation, and defining best practices.
Implement unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high-quality code.
Optimize frontend performance and enhance browser debugging capabilities.
Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
Follow accessibility (WCAG 2.1) standards to ensure inclusive and compliant interfaces.
Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code using Git workflows and industry best practices.
Engage in code reviews and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Must-Have Skills
6 years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong expertise in CSS frameworks, preprocessors, and responsive design.
Experience with unit testing and TDD (Jest, React Testing Library, or similar).
Understanding of Node.js, Webpack, and NPM package management.
Ability to optimize frontend performance and debug complex UI issues.
Experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Work portfolio (applications, code samples) demonstrating development skills and UI best practices.
Nice To Have
Experience in design system development.
Knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks.
Experience testing on mobile devices.
