Schedule : 4 Month Temporary assignment, 40 hours per week, with the possibility of a 120-day extension.

Job Description
HYRE HAPER Co. is hiring on behalf of The Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines VA Healthcare System (BPVAHCS), seeking 10 Temporary Food Service Workers to meet operational requirements across various departments, including Critical Care, Medical / Surgical Wards, Long-Term Care, Community Living Centers, Palliative Care, Domiciliary Care, and Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs.
As a Food Service Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services for our nation’s veterans. Duties include food preparation, service, subsistence handling, and maintaining sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Food Service :
- Set up and close serving lines to ensure availability of menu items during operating hours.
- Serve food in cafeteria or trayline settings, portioning items appropriately per tray tickets.
- Assemble and pack meal components for carryout service.
