Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Data Governance Lead based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
- Lead the creation and execution of data, analytics, and algorithm governance frameworks to ensure compliance with standards and drive business success.
- Initiate and oversee the Master Data Management (MDM) program, focusing on curating high-priority data for critical business use cases.
- Act as a data advocate, ensuring governance policies are adhered to and identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and data utilization.
- Align data quality initiatives with business objectives, identify high-value use cases, and develop plans to remediate data quality issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine how data is used across business processes, ensuring optimal analytic outcomes.

What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in data management, with expertise in data modeling, integration, and governance.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data architecture principles, database concepts, and innovative digital technologies.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
- Extensive experience in data management, including data modeling, integration, and quality improvement.
- Proven ability to define and enforce data governance policies, educating stakeholders across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a balanced understanding of business and IT needs.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across departments and resolving issues effectively.
- Ability to assess and enhance existing data quality and governance programs while planning for new data sources and system upgrades.
