Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Data Governance Lead based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do :
Lead the creation and execution of data, analytics, and algorithm governance frameworks to ensure compliance with standards and drive business success.
Initiate and oversee the Master Data Management (MDM) program, focusing on curating high-priority data for critical business use cases.
Act as a data advocate, ensuring governance policies are adhered to and identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and data utilization.
Align data quality initiatives with business objectives, identify high-value use cases, and develop plans to remediate data quality issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine how data is used across business processes, ensuring optimal analytic outcomes.

What you will need :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience : 5 years of experience in data management, with expertise in data modeling, integration, and governance.
Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with data architecture principles, database concepts, and innovative digital technologies.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Extensive experience in data management, including data modeling, integration, and quality improvement.
Proven ability to define and enforce data governance policies, educating stakeholders across departments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a balanced understanding of business and IT needs.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across departments and resolving issues effectively.
Ability to assess and enhance existing data quality and governance programs while planning for new data sources and system upgrades.
