Hyundai Motor Group North America Quality Center (NAQC) is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer II at Chino / Irvine, CA office who will :
responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of an organization's data and databases, and managing and maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of an organization's data and database systems
The ideal candidate is....
- Install, configure, and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Set up data back up system and implement data restore plan
- Extract and transform data to proper format depending on the data analysis needs
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Ensure all database programs meet the company and performance requirements.
- Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

Emergency Response : Availability for urgent system issues that might require on-site presence at non-standard hours or locations, although this is generally infrequent.
Compensation Range : $22.60 ~ $26.44 (hourly)
Salary : $23 - $26
