What to Expect
The HCI Operations Support Associate will provide operational and data support to vendors partners, OEM/ HCA, Field Team, and Dealers across all brands (Hyundai/Genesis/Kia). This position is responsible for supporting stakeholders on day-to-day operations pertaining to data / IT integrations, contract originations, claims/cancellations processing, and operational reporting.
What You Will Do
1. Support day-to-day management of all HCI programs (across all brands):
- Manage and track production support requests to ensure accountability and adherence to SLAs
- Ensure daily data files between HCI, OEM, and vendor partners are delivered/received on a timely and accurate basis
- Review/analyze business data to recommend process improvements and/or necessary risk-mitigation controls
- Monitor system uptime and availability during critical month-end periods
- Assist with internal and external audit/compliance requests by compiling/reviewing required data or business documentation; summarizing findings and/or remediation plans; and preparing status reports
- Participate in regular business development meetings with vendors
- Support preparation of management presentations and/or reporting (e.g. dashboards / scorecards) that highlight operational performance and metrics
- Communicate status of critical projects / production items to internal stakeholders and vendors
- Analyze current operations and system integrations between HCI, OEM and vendors to identify best practices and/or opportunities for optimization
- Conduct/Support training on operational systems or processes (e.g. Claims Portal, OBIEE/Tableau Reporting, Salesforce, etc.)
2. Assist with project management activities to support MBODs and strategic HCI initiatives, including drafting business cases, identifying benefits/deliverables, defining project timelines, gathering requirements, and/or leading QA/UAT efforts
3. Maintain repository of policies & procedures by assisting with development and updating of program materials, process flows, communication bulletins, training materials, and/or standard operating procedure
4. All other duties as required/ assigned based on business needs
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 2–4 years related experience
- Experience with writing queries, analyzing data and building reports and dashboards.
- Reporting Software experience preferred (JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, OBIEE, SAS, or Workbench etc.)
- 1-2 years related auto/finance industry experience (Credit, Funding, F&I Products, Dealer Operations, etc.) a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Business Process Management (BPM) a plus
- Proficient PC skills using Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio, Projects, Teams
- Proficient quantitative and analytical skills to summarize data
- High degree of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to write queries, analyze data, and build reporting/dashboards to summarize business trends
- Proven organizational and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Client service driven with excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and present to diverse groups both internal (Hyundai) and external (vendors)
- Team oriented, but able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed and results-oriented
- Flexible, adaptable, and hands-on approach
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
