In this role you will join the Quality Control team and report to Quality Control Manager.
You will accomplish day to day tactical objectives in support of the company and the department goals. Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years
Managerial Experience: 0-3 years
Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS)
Degree Field: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
Equivalent Experience/Education: 5 years in Quality in an automotive/manufacturing industry
Communication Skills: High

Mathematical Skills: Intermediate

Responsibilities
Supports the Quality Control Team through managing subordinates, developing programs, investigating, and resolving issues and reporting.
- Ensure the quality of incoming & supplied parts through collaborative partnerships within the suppliers, internally and KMMG.
- Prepare detailed plans, reports, and schedules for the Quality Department.
- Facilitate and work diligently with cross functional teams.
- Develop, implement, and manage Supplier quality control program for LP (local) suppliers.
- Investigate any supplier’s quality issue systemically (process check, confirmation, verification of Improvement).
- Plan and initiate supplier development initiatives for Supplier Quality improvement.
- Manage and address nonconforming parts and modules.
- Approve re-work or deviation for parts and check fixture maintenance.
- Implement corrective actions with supplier if necessary.
- Oversee part traceability, part and process inspections and audits.
- Maintain inspection manual and update parts inspection standards.
- Create inspection agreement and standard contracts with Supplier and Customer.
- Approve and analyze all lab test results.
- Plan and analyze Parts durability tests.
- Work directly with Quality Assurance Department for investigation analysis of field claims, supplier and internally process audits and quality KPIs documentation analysis and reporting.
- Provide direction for implementing inspection plans, FTTQ, In-process, final inspection, sampling, and inspection acceptance criteria.
- Use QIAS & SAP system to relate with all Total Quality system.
- Analyze and manage data reports.
