(This is a 3rd shift position). 

Hyundai MOBIS is one of the largest leading auto parts specialist companies in the world. Hyundai MOBIS forms the parts and service arm for South Korean automakers Kia Motors Georgia. The Hyundai MOBIS Georgia Plant wields its cutting-edge vehicle modularization technology to manufacture and supply chassis modules, cockpit modules and front-end modules to the KIA Georgia factory. In addition to the three major modules, our Team Members assemble front and rear bumpers in a just-in-sequence manufacturing environment. • High School diploma or equivalent required.
• $20.15 base rate; increases every 6 months for first 36 months.
  • $2.00 Shift Premium on 2nd and a $1.50 Shift Premium for 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

Education, Experience Required and/or Skills:

Education: 

• High school diploma/GED
• Certified/Technical skills: N/A

Experience Required:

• 3 years.

Equivalent Experience/Education:

• 3-5 years of experience in quality experience and in manufacturing/automotive environment.
• Foreign Language Required: No. If yes, what language? N/A.

Responsibilities

Expectations- Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals.  Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embraces and promotes company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment.  Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.

Responsibilities-

• Investigate all Mobis and Supplier related issues as they reported. Provide clean points and initial containment activity.
• Line calls; walk backs, initiate sorts.
• Daily OS&D.
• Daily Shift Report.
• Daily Shift Audits.
• Conduct Weekly Inspector Training.
• Follow and enforce all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Knowledge of safety equipment.
• Knowledgeable of all Quality Control work standards.
• As a Quality Team Leader help prevent OEM downtime due to shipping defective product.
• Understand the assembly process related to MOBIS Georgia modules.
• Understanding of module function (Chassis, Cockpit, FEM, Bumper).
• Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the workstations clean and organized.
• Following all work orders and instruction given by the Supervisor and Management.
• Continuous application of education material.
• Must provide daily written reports to the MOBIS Quality Team as requested by Management.
• Participate as a part of the Quality Team; Teamwork is essential.
• Other tasks as assigned.
