Job description: JOB TITLE
Legal Contracts and Regulatory Specialist
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Legal Specialist – Contracts and Regulatory will work closely with the General Counsel, Senior Counsel – Contracts, and Senior Counsel – Regulatory and General Litigation to oversee HMGMA’s contract management system and legal compliance matters.
Contracts Management:
Support the General Counsel and Senior Counsel – Contracts in overseeing HMGMA’s transactional operations.
• Assist in developing, tracking, and maintaining contract templates.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with HMGMA policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Respond to internal and external requests for contract-related data.
• Oversee routine contract reporting and notice requirements.
• Organize and maintain all electronic contractual records for the Legal Department.
Legal Compliance:
• Collaborate with the General Counsel and Senior Counsel – Regulatory and General Litigation on regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Assist in developing and implementing legal compliance policies, procedures, and systems to enhance regulatory adherence.
• Conduct legal compliance risk assessments and monitor the legal compliance hotline.
• Support internal legal investigations, legal audits, and legal training programs to strengthen compliance efforts.
