Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing the consolidated month end closing and to compile and publish the monthly financial package. The position will ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures through the review and approval of invoices. Responsible to communicate with all departments to address and resolve issues identified during the invoice review.
Essential Functions
Corporate:

- Manage the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
- Performs additional assignments / duties as required by management
EHS:
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Meets company safety goals
Technical:
- Prepare journal entries for month, quarter, and year end
- Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules
- Prepare Financial statements
- Budget control based on business plan and preparing labor costs/SG&A expense analysis reports
- Leads annual budgeting forecast and participates in the monthly close process.
- Lead semi- year inventory count and support year-end audit relates
- Manage team of two or three and mentor and give guideline as needed relates to Finance department policy and work process.
- Support Finance manager and CFO and perform ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Leadership:
- Work with Finance Team and across all departments to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Lead special projects assigned to Finance & Accounting Department as needed.
- Promotes a positive workplace through communicating specifically and with respect.
- Supports all activities regarding internal and external audits.
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced Degree Preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years similar work experience in finance or accounting field required.

- Reports to: CFO

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Must satisfactorily complete HTGP hiring process requirements, which includes phone interview, in-person interview, medical and functional assessment, drug screen and background check.
- Candidates must be able to work some overtime hours and occasional weekend days.
- Candidates must be capable of working on their feet for long periods, demonstrating hand dexterity and tolerating repetitious work patterns.
