The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the Accounting department. The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the month end close, financial reporting, and internal controls across multiple entities including foreign subsidiaries. Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Monitor internal controls and recommend and implement improvements as needed
- Support NetSuite general ledger system with an emphasis on accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, and accounts payable
- Ensure compliance Company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Record complex transactions including debt and equity instruments
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and IT
- Train and develop accounting staff, including setting performance goals and supporting performance evaluations
- Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
- Ability to manage 1-2 direct reports
