5 years of experience in foam pad manufacturing. Chem or Chem E (Prefer Chem E.) needs experience programming foam pours, making adjustments to mixes, etc. to adjust and edit the production process.
Execute daily work assignments and plant management in accordance with all Hyundai Transys Seating Systems of Savannah safety, quality, and productivity standards. Daily assignments will relate to all aspects of Foam production, maintenance of foam pad equipment and quality improvements of foam pad production. Daily tasks will require timely responses to equipment and production issues, as well as issues with raw materials and mold / forming equipment. Communicating and troubleshooting issues with team members, department management and leadership will be time-sensitive in nature. Time management and communication skills are critical.
2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all work assignments in accordance with Hyundai Transys Seating Systems of Savannah production, safety and quality policies, and procedures.Work closely with other departments, management, and team members to ensure foam production issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.Investigate technical issues related to foam productionCreate reporting to provide to management and leadership based off the analysis of critical data.Drive continuous improvement processes with material and machines, utilizing improved processes and technologyAssist the management and foam team in organizing, planning and implementing strategies within the foam lineValidate & continually improve lab results as it relates to static load, hardness, density and dimension of finished foam.Ensure all robotics are programmed and maintained to optimize pour patternsAbility to plan proactively with other foam pad team members and other departments.Ability to use Hyundai Transys Seating Systems software systems.Ability to work well with company leadership and employees.Other duties as assigned.3.0 OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Education and / or Experience : BS / BA degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or polymer science and at least 3 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience related to Foam manufacturing or injection molding.Language Skills : Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write in-depth correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to company leadership and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Computer : Ability to use computer programs including MS suite, SAP, MES systems and Hyundai Transys Seating Systems Software.Progression : Ability to show progress towards attaining basic skills in the fore mentioned para 2.0 Duties and Responsibilities.5.0 PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
