Our fulfillment company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to manage day-to-day warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in fulfillment, warehousing and/or third-party logistics and will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations
- Receive inbound inventory and ensure accurate record keeping of all incoming shipments
- Manage the organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse to ensure efficient order fulfillment
- Process outbound orders in a timely and accurate manner, coordinating with third-party carriers as needed
- Work with customers to facilitate special projects and ensure that all customer needs are met
- Assist the owner in hiring and training day labor as needed
- An ideal candidate is highly-attentive to detail and works until the job is done
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and/or fulfillment.
- Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.
- Willingness to drive a forklift and experience doing so.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and/or third-party logistics
- Experience with forklift operation and certification (not required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Proven ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
