I-2-I Solutions is seeking experienced Warehouse Logistics Specialists to perform and coordinate all warehouse and storerooms logistics support operations and actions. Roles involve receiving, sorting, storing, packaging, and transporting Navy supply system standard and non-standard items while ensuring 100% accountability and traceability.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities may vary but will generally include some or all of the following:
Material Handling & Logistics Support:
- Offload material from trucks manually or using Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring proper receipt and traceability.
- Receive and verify all incoming shipments, including stock and Direct Turn-Over (DTO) material, using Navy’s Integrated Barcode System (IBS) for tracking.
- Ensure proper stowage of all material in designated locations and obtain government approval for alternative storage when necessary.
- Handle pilferable and Level 1 material securely; immediately report and coordinate the handling of hazardous and classified materials with CNAL personnel.
- Provide local delivery of cargo to and from CVN ships, water and air terminals, logistics support centers, and other transshipment points.
- Maintain records of all received and shipped materials, ensuring accurate documentation and ensure all outgoing material is documented and signed for by the receiving party.
- Assist ship personnel in tracking and closing out all material routed through CNAL facilities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to shipments, including frustrated and damaged materials.
Packaging & Freight Forwarding:
- Perform re-packaging and preservation of materials as per NAVSUP P-700 standards.
- Pack and prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with shipping requirements.
- Expedite urgent shipments as required and notify concerned parties accordingly.
Warehouse & Transportation Operations:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment capable of moving loads up to 6,000 lbs and reaching heights of 297 inches.
- Drive heavy-duty trucks (rated capacity over 4 tons) for delivery and pickup of materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in warehouse logistics, supply chain, or military logistics support.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required for truck operations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, barcode scanning, and data entry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of Navy Aviation, DOD/Navy operations, and military logistics structure preferred.
