Responsibilities
Package sold vehicle documents for submission to a Private Tag Agency
Prepare and process tax and title documents for out-of-state vehicle sales
Prepare and process title paperwork for used vehicle wholesale transactions
Prepare and process dealer trades and inter-company vehicle transfers
Record new and used vehicle inventory purchases and maintain stock folders
Research and resolve any discrepancies or problems with the billing process
Prepare bank payoff checks for trade-ins and follow-up on lien releases
Maintain a log of all dealer tags and process annual renewals
Process all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts
Accounting computer data posting
Other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
2 years of Automotive Tag and Title clerical experience required
