Remote Outreach Manager in Ohio!
Summary/Objective
Outreach Manager will help connect people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges to specialized programs, services, and primary dental health care. In this dynamic, hybrid role, this position works closely with subject matter experts and sales team to develop new referral partners and drive patient acquisition.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for increasing patient acquisition for Boundless Health and the Boundless family companies.
- Serves as ‘ambassador’ for Boundless Programs, promoting our program’s primary care, dental, behavioral health, and speech services to other agencies, employers, government agencies, and potential clients.
- Maintains appropriate daily, monthly, quarterly and annual referral goals as assigned.
- Builds relationships with prospective patients or community partners, establish new connections with community partners, and coordinate speaking engagements and outreach events.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all internal programs and programs within the community.
- Provides reliable follow-up to assure continued utilization by new referral agencies.
- Documents all encounters in Salesforce and according to established procedure.
- Performs other duties incidental to work described herein.
- Conducts job duties in a professional and caring manner.
- Works in harmony with others and exhibits a positive attitude and a commitment to the basic Mission of I Am Boundless.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.
- Work is performed in a fluid working environment including offices, schools, daycares, community outreach events, outdoor events, and different Boundless locations.

Supervisory Duties
- This position will supervise a team of three part-time outreach specialists.
Education, Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum two to four years of outreach, customer care, sales, training, or account management experience; preferably working in a community-based healthcare, social service, or similar setting.
- Skilled in using personal computers, databases, and word processing software required.
- Effective customer service, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills needed for interaction with contacts.
- Experience building relationships with a network of community organizations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of the health care field, behavioral health, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Medicaid experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurable driving record (no more than five points).
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record, if applicable.
Travel Requirements: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected on occasion
The hours of this remote position will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend work, as job duties demand.
