Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Outreach and Marketing Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and drive our mission forward.
The role would encompass all marketing and outreach responsibilities for the purpose of promoting Learning 4 Life Farm in terms of awareness for both sponsorship and potential contracts. Responsibilities would also include assisting with social media management, donor relations, and fundraising initiatives. There will also be opportunities to participate in professional development and board meetings as needed to report progress on different initiatives. Successful candidate will report to the board of Learning 4 Life Farm and executive director. Candidate will work directly with the Director of Farm Operations and Director of Farm Education.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies, building relationships with donors, and ensuring the sustainability of our organization through diverse funding sources. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to fostering community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet organizational goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors while identifying new prospects.
- Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials that enhance fundraising efforts.
- Track donations, manage donor information, and analyze fundraising performance.
- Organize fundraising events and campaigns that engage the community and promote awareness of our mission.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, volunteers, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience with our organization.
- Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress for the leadership team.
Experience
- Proven experience in fundraising or development roles, with a strong track record of successful campaigns.
- Experience in strategic planning and relationship management within the nonprofit sector.
- Familiarity with public relations strategies that enhance organizational visibility.
- Strong understanding of database management systems related to fundraising activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
