About the Role:

As the Senior Data Insights Analyst, Program Performance, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data systems, processes, and dashboards that drive real-time insights into the impact and effectiveness of our training and residency programs. You will integrate program data with Salesforce, ensure seamless collection processes, and generate actionable insights that empower leadership, program managers, employer partners, and funders to make informed decisions.

This role requires expertise in data visualization, qualitative and quantitative data methods, survey design, analytics, and project management. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong execution skills, capable of translating messy, complex data into clear, meaningful insights that directly inform program strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Program Data Collection, Analysis Insights (30%)
  • Design, refine, and implement surveys (intern and resident experience, employer feedback, wellness check-ins, program engagement, etc.).

  • Conduct quantitative analysis (trend analysis, correlations, predictive modeling) on key program success factors and on intern learning and development in business, leadership, and technology.

  • Conduct qualitative research (focus groups, interviews, sentiment analysis) to capture program experience insights.

  • Analyze intern and resident progress, hiring speed and career advancement, certifications, and engagement to surface trends and recommend strategic adjustments.

  • Work closely with program and employer engagement teams to ensure data measures capture impact and align with local market workforce needs.

Data Visualization Storytelling (30%)
  • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights to program leadership and stakeholders.

  • Use data storytelling techniques to transform raw data into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making.

  • Ensure program impact data is accessible and easily interpretable for non-technical stakeholders.

Data Systems Integration (25%)
  • Design and implement program data processes and systems that integrate with Salesforce and other relevant platforms to enable real-time data tracking.

  • Develop automated dashboards and reports that capture key performance metrics such as:

    • Internship/Training Program Persistence

    • Speed to Hire Post-Internship/Training Program

    • Residency Program Certifications Attempted & Achieved

    • Residency Program Engagement  

    • Intern & Resident Wellness

  • Work with our Chief Technology Officer to ensure seamless Salesforce data integration and reporting functionalities.

Project Management Execution (15%)
  • Drive data strategy projects from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new data tools and processes.

  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.

Who Will Thrive in This Role/What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Social Science Research, or a related field (preferred) OR

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (strongly preferred), especially in Data Science, Analytics, Applied Statistics, or Research Methods OR 

  • 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience in data analysis, program impact evaluation, business intelligence, and workforce analytics (required).  NOTE: Extensive professional experience in data visualization, research methodologies, and systems integration may substitute for a formal degree.

Skills:

🔹 Technical Expertise
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce integration and data management.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools to conduct advanced data analysis.

  • Experience designing surveys (Qualtrics, Google Forms, Alchemer, etc.) and analyzing responses.

🔹 Data Analysis & Research
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

  • Ability to conduct predictive modeling, trend analysis, and performance benchmarking.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and best practices.

🔹 Program Knowledge & Execution
  • Managing data-related projects from concept to implementation.

  • Storytelling with data visualizations and statistical analysis

  • Presenting insights to leadership, funders, and partners.

  • Project management and systems thinking, ensuring data solutions align with programmatic goals.

  • Leading data-driven decision-making and process improvements for training or talent development programs.
