We are seeking a skilled and driver Dirt Foreman to join our growing team. The Dirt Foreman will lead and oversee earthwork and site preparation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of dirt work and grading, and a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dirt work and grading crews.
- Plan and schedule work assignments, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Interpret site plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and team members.
- Train and mentor crew members to enhance performance and productivity.
- Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dirt work, grading, and excavation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. e
- Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment and site preparation techniques.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and team management abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
