Description:
We seek a motivated, sales-driven individual responsible for sourcing and purchasing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. You will work with Regional and General Managers to grow accounts and increase scrap volumes profitably within the state and region.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous materials per company guidelines for new and existing accounts.
- Develop strategies to source new ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Visit and maintain relationships with customers like demolition contractors, dealers, and industrial accounts.
- Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Ensure purchased materials meet specifications.
- Address supplier complaints and ensure resolution.
- Submit monthly reports and participate in performance reviews.
