Our client is looking to add a Project Engineer to their team.

Job Responsibilities Project Engineer :

As a Project Engineer , you will design, develop, and implement automation systems for industrial applications. Key responsibilities include :

Automation System Design & Development :

Create engineering drawings, PLC / HMI programs, and control panel designs.

Develop and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

Project Execution & Customer Interface :

Work with customers to define project requirements and solutions.
Oversee system startup, testing, and commissioning.
Coordinate with vendors, CAD, and manufacturing teams.
Process Improvement & Business Development :

Identify optimization opportunities and assist in generating proposals.

Support project documentation, financial reporting, and invoicing.

Compliance & Documentation :

Maintain accurate records of designs, reports, and system configurations.

Ensure adherence to safety policies and industry standards.

Project Engineer Qualifications :

Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.3 years of experience in automation, PLC programming, or control systems.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI / SCADA development .Experience with industrial networks (Ethernet / IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.) .Ability to troubleshoot and commission automation systems.

Soft Skills & Additional Requirements :

Strong problem-solving and project management skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to travel (up to 25%) and a valid Driver’s License .Ability to relocate to Iowa (relocation assistance provided).

Compensation & Benefits :

Salary : Up to $120,000 (based on experience)
