We are seeking a Bookkeeper with 2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks Online and acute attention to detail. Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. The bookkeeper will manage various aspects of financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting functions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial data, ensuring the smooth processing of transactions.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure proper handling of cash flow.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of financial documents, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial data and insights.
- Analyze financial information to recommend and implement improvements or cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with personnel involved with inventory and/or consignment to minimize shortages and improve inventory/consignment releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial guidance as needed.
- Support external audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with a focus on operational accounting.
- Software: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Must possess a keen eye for accuracy and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and identify areas for improvement.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
