What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant position at I-TECH Resources, Inc.?
We are currently looking for an Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper. for a manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL. The accountant is responsible for entering, tracking, and reacting to the daily financial activities of the company. This position is also responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining the accounting principles, practices, and procedures that ensure accurate and timely financial statements and transactions. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities. The accountant will have contact with all levels of the company as well as the client and supplier networks, which requires strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle Accounts Receivable including billings & collections
- Full cycle Accounts Payable
- General Ledger maintenance
- Physical Inventory tracking and maintenance
- Create and track Purchase Orders
- Incoming order processing
- Multiple bank reconciliations and record-keeping
- Detailed Analysis and preparation of reports for the President of the company
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements
- Employee payroll processing, including 1099s and tax reporting
- Communication (verbal and/or written) with co-workers, clients, suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts
- Company & Client asset tracking
- Processing incoming & outgoing company mail
- Prepare & analyze appropriate financial schedules and reports as required
- Deposits account receivables into company bank accounts
- Follow GAAP procedures and guidelines
- Timely tax return preparation with the President’s assistance
- Generates 1099's and W-2s for company
- Assist with HR related tasks
- Answer the phone when necessary
- Greet customers and guests when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Full Charge Bookkeeper: 4 years (Required)
- QuickBooks / QBO: 4 years (Required)
- ERP Software experience in a manufacturing setting: 4 years (Required)
