Job Summary
Required to perform tasks involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds, installation, maintenance, maintaining, and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on all production machines, equipment, and building. May be required to perform purchasing and inventory of maintenance parts & supplies and successfully negotiate and interact with suppliers, customers, manufacturers, and internal department personnel. The incumbent is expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company standards for safety and conduct.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintenance Technician III – This is the third level position title within this series. Employees at this level are expected to have developed a trade of expertise for machine maintenance and production equipment repairs; installs, maintains and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems on all production equipment and have the ability to work independently in the performance of standard maintenance and repairs.
The following list of major duties represents a composite list of typical duties performed by individuals in this position. Specific duties performed by the incumbent will vary depending upon the facility and/or department within the Company.
- On a daily basis, receives assigned work order to complete on equipment.
- Upon completion of work, enters appropriate information onto worksheet for submission and filing and/or enters into MRP system for filing and tracking.
- Performs scheduled PM's and visually inspect and test assigned machines and equipment for proper functionality.
- May be required to order requisition parts as needed.
- Perform repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction has been detected. May discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and repair the machine.
- Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
- Perform machine installations/moves and building maintenance tasks as needed.
- Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Develop, coordinate and track project list activities.
- Ensures that a high level of safety is adhered to at all times on and off the production floor.
- All duties covered under Maintenance Technician level I and II.
- Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
Minimum Requirements
- Maintenance Technician III
Associates Degree in technical field and five years of related experience.
Materials Required
Must have tools in order to perform all functions of the job/position. A minimum list of tools will be given by plant management.
Safety and Housekeeping
- Must wear all required PPE properly
- Conduct him/herself in a safe manner
- Must keep the area around your work station clean and free from dirt and debris.
- Clean assigned areas of the building or pieces of equipment as instructed by your supervisor.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear.

Will train Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm then will go to shift work. Would work either if day (8AM-8PM) or nights (8PM-8AM). If they work nights, will receive additional $1 differential.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
