About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a London based Securities Trading Vice President to join the EMEA Markets SPG Trading desk. The EMEA Markets SPG Trading desk is a market maker in European Securitized products, within the broader Credit Trading platform. Wells Fargo provides financial assets and liquidity to corporate and institutional clients. Traders and Salespeople work collectively to make secondary markets in ABS, RMBS, CLOs. In this role, you will: Independently make markets in European ABS/RMBS/CLOs and work with an existing senior trader. Manage and monitor trading book risk, including any hedging strategies for interest rate, credit, and FX risk. Co-ordinate with the EMEA/US Sales teams to maintain and develop European ABF client relationships. Work with other CIB businesses to help develop and support EMEA origination/financing efforts. Work with internal stakeholders on reporting aspects of the business. Ensure compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with internal and/or regulatory standards and policies. Required Qualifications: Experience in Securities Trading, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Strong academic background. Knowledge of the technical and fundamentals affecting the markets, with a strong interest in the wider financial markets. Extensive trading experience in ABS/CLO markets. Other exposures to any other fixed income markets are beneficial. Some existing relationships with market participants and clients. High level of diligence and discipline. A track record of proven risk management and contributions to a broader team performance. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg and Intex.
