The Corporate & Investment Banking group provides banking services and financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Within Corporate & Investment Banking, the Rates, Commodities, and xVA Group is responsible for the Sales and Trading platform for Interest Rates, Commodities, FX and xVA. Under this group, the xVA team is primarily responsible for the valuation and pricing of Cross Asset derivatives that Wells Fargo is a counterparty to. Additionally, the xVA group also manages the Fixed Income Structured Notes (FISN) desk, responsible for the distribution and trading of Fixed Income Structured Notes for Wells Fargo, as well as third party issuers. As a member of the xVA and FISN team, the Vice President role’s key responsibilities are to price, execute, and risk management of WF derivatives portfolio across different asset classes as well as to manage a portfolio of Wells Fargo issued Fixed Income Structured Notes and associated hedges. Responsibilities will also include working with internal partners to ensure accurate data reporting, risk data accuracy and operational efficiency. In this role, you will: Pricing xVA across multiple derivatives trades (close interaction with the Sales team) Analysing the risks and PnL for the book Executing the hedges of the books on Credit, Rates, Commodities, Equity and FX. Manage a risk portfolio of bonds and hedges for USD interest rates and options Provide analytical support for Corporate Finance, Corporate Treasury, and other internal partners Help improve processes and move the platform forward electronically Support idea generation in the structure of new Fixed Income Structured Notes Working on the development of new models and framework to expand the scope of action of the group Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Required Qualifications: Experience in Securities Trading, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Strong understanding of CVA modelling and trading Experience in executing vanilla swaps and options across a variety of asset classes Good communication skill as the job will require a very frequent interaction with our business partners within the firm Desired Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong interest in financial markets and risk management Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented Strong work ethic, initiative, and desire to learn Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment Experience in VBA or other scripting language Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externally Focused on specific, ambitious goals, and demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results Job Expectations: This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
