Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator , you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient operations. This position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of recycle transportation management systems, Quick Books, Word, Excel, Routing Software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming dispatch requests
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries, pickups, and routes
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate pick-up/ delivery of material
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update status information
- Monitor and manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and fueling
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and documentation
-Monitor/Record Drive on freight scale
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching or supply chain management preferred
- Computer Skills a must
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet
- Proficient in using GPS/GIS technology for route planning
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions
