What to Expect :
The main function of the Inventory Supervisor is managing all inventory including receiving, kitting, staging and shipping. As the Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the daily activities of the inventory staff, analyzing inventory data, and ensuring the accuracy of the inventory records.
What you’ll Do :
- Manage all inventory from a receiving, kitting, staging and shipping perspective.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure inventory is always available and count is accurate.
- Develop, implement, and update inventory control procedures and policies to minimize losses and reduce costs.
- Accurately record and document inventory data.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff.
- Assist in the ordering and replenishment of inventory items.
- Review inventory records and transactions for accuracy.
- Track inventory levels and report on any changes or trends.
- Prepare and submit reports to management.
- Efficiently communicate with Inventory Associates to ensure material is staged and ready before needed.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are implemented as directed.
- Ensure lot tractability is followed in all areas.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
