Job Description :

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned production lines. Additional responsibilities of the position include the management and development of production line employees to reach / exceed established goals and metrics. The ideal candidate will own the entire production process within their production lines. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise team of production employees; ensure team is adequately staffed, managed, trained, and evaluated.
• Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate them to production team.
• Establish line assignments and staffing depending on the line priority list.
• Work with employees to establish efficiency standards and measure performance to targets.
• Manage workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Coordinate training to promote learning and address gaps in capabilities. Cross training will be a key component in providing production flexibility.
• Responsible for all aspects of production, production supply inventory, tool requirements, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development, making employment decisions as needed.
• Facilitate the review process, from documentation to in-person delivery.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
