Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for leading the production team and enhancing productivity while overseeing all machinery and personnel, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient, high-quality production of goods.
Essential Duties May Include:
- Overseeing all equipment, personnel, and inventory within the facility
- Providing instruction, training, and performance feedback to associates in order to ensure their safety and success
- Assisting the team with hands-on manufacturing duties such as processing, setting a tool, maintenance, etc.
- Ensuring the efficient execution of schedules to meet customer requirements and production goals
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize personnel, materials, and equipment resources
- Meeting budgets and goals (including on time delivery, quality, and efficiency)
- Reviewing processes to ensure superior quality and implementing necessary adjustments or corrective actions
- Proven experience (10 years) in plastics injection molding (including processing)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Successful history of meeting production budgets and goals
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
- Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability read, write, and communicate in English
- Prior knowledge of IQMS preferred
