POSITION OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a seasoned, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the Latin America region. This position requires a deep understanding of airport security solutions and the ability to drive revenue growth by fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the aviation and security industries. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience (8-10 years minimum) in B2B or B2g sales within the security equipment sector, with a proven track record of success in leading sales efforts and managing complex, multi-faceted sales cycles. This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the regional network of partners in Latin America, ensuring that sales targets and performance metrics are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, penetrate new markets, and expand the company’s customer base across the region.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including airport authorities, government agencies, and private contractors in the aviation security industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Latin American market, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives and regional goals.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track market trends, and report on performance to senior leadership, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
  • Product Knowledge & Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert on airport security equipment, providing expert-level consultation to clients on solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead the negotiation process for large, complex contracts and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer support, product development, and engineering teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in sales, with at least 5 years focused on the airport security or related industries.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing a network of local partners in an international setting.
  • Deep knowledge of the Latin American market, including business practices, cultural nuances, and key players in the aviation and security industries.
  • Strong understanding of airport security equipment, technologies, and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully close large deals and manage long sales cycles.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and market analysis.


 TRAVEL:

  • Ability to travel frequently within the region and internationally as required.

 

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • No special clearances required.

  • Boxborough, MA.  (As Required)
  • Binghamton, NY (As Required)
