Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Meeting Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organizing and executing successful events, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events from conception to completion
- Select and reserve venues, catering, and other event services
- Develop event budgets and ensure all expenditures remain within the allocated budget
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage event logistics including transportation, accommodations, and on-site support
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests throughout the event planning process
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance event offerings and increase revenue
Qualifications
- Previous experience in meeting planning or related field preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent typing and organizational skills
- Previous experience in event planning, travel logistics or tradeshows
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with sales and marketing teams
- Ability to work early or late hours when necessary to support customer visits, equipment deliveries.
- Proficient computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom and Salesforce.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour
