What are the responsibilities and job description for the Implementation Engineer position at i3 Verticals?
i3 Verticals is looking for candidates to fill an Implementation Engineer role in our Public Sector vertical. An Implementation Engineer – Accounting (ERP) will work closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements and configure software solutions to meet client needs. Preferred candidates will have working experience in the accounting industry, including technical proficiency with nonprofit and/or government management software and database management and basic Governmental Accounting (GASB), GAAP - AR, AP, Payroll and General Ledger knowledge.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- :Ability to travel to multiple client locations for implementations throughout the South East United States

- sReviews contracts for understanding and adherence to the scope of wor
- kConsults with and partners with internal and external stakeholders to understand client’s business processe
- sReport project/workstream statuses/risks to Project Manager
- sSets up and conducts product overview and solution demonstration
- sAnalyzes current state and future state to ensure features and functionality meets scoped requirements, including compliance requirement
- sInstalls databases and software and configures the solution to meet the client’s need
- sCreates test cases and runs tests to find and correct errors, and validate the implementation meets specification
- sTrains and/or assists with client/end-user trainin
- gProvides client support during testing, go live and post go liv
- eTriage, debugs and resolves defect
- sMigrates solution to production and performs post-production revie
- wReviews client requests for enhancements and engages with the needed departments for scoping and contractin
- gWorks with Support to transition client solutions to the maintenance phas
- eAdheres to communication standards to ensure clients are informed of status, progress, and risks/issue
- sFacilitates internal and external meeting
- sMaintains positive relationships with both internal and external partner
- sCreates system or implementation process documentation for internal and external stakeholder
