JOB TITLE: Product Assurance Analyst
DEPARTMENT: S&S Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Client Services
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
JOB LOCATION: Shreveport, LA preferred; remote option
TRAVEL: 5%
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Test proprietary software applications and compare them to user requirements to ensure it functions according to those requirements.
- Create and maintain test plans.
- Recommend changes and improvements for software applications.
- Work with developers to make appropriate changes and complete additional testing.
- Document quality testing process by describing the application, evaluation, testing methods, and improvements made to the software.
- Document training materials and instruct users how to use the software properly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Associate’s Degree
- 2 years’ experience in a Software Engineering and/or Post-Sales Implementation
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must possess planning and analytical skills
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related
