What are the responsibilities and job description for the SharePoint Developer (TX Residents Only) position at i3solutions, Inc.?
The Developer will assume Mid-level responsibilities that include analyzing requirements, developing both web and client applications throughout its lifecycle, performing unit testing, and producing relevant documentation. In addition, the Developer will devise innovative methods for handling data securely across various apps in Microsoft Platform.
The Developer will interpret project requirements and implement or maintain the corresponding SharePoint Platform in accordance with client specifications. Responsibilities also include reverse engineering and troubleshooting complex legacy applications using available documentation and baseline requirements, providing support in reading, interpreting, and maintaining code in SharePoint, Power Platform and related technologies, as well as advising both the team and management on technical decisions.
The position further involves contributing to complex Site collection permissions management, design and management of Sites and Subsites, Libraries and Lists. The Developer must demonstrate proficiency in rewriting and migration of the legacy applications built on SharePoint designer, InfoPath and Nintex to Power Platform.
Expert knowledge of the SharePoint Online modern pages development, alongside extensive experience in automating business processes. The Developer will assist in migrating solutions to alternative technologies, identifying areas and processes where modern solutions in M365 can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
The Developer must be adept at collaborating within the large Team, across different divisions as well as working independently, demonstrating thorough knowledge of security, version control, and other software development best practices. The role also includes project management activities, providing after-hours support for application and assisting in upgrades or maintenance, and offering emergency support as needed. The Developer works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Additional duties may be assigned as required. Compliance with all applicable Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures is mandatory.
Required Skills:

10 years of Experience in SharePoint Online Admininstration and development including Site collection administration, Complex permissions management, SPFx , SP modern pages development.
- 5 Years of SharePoint Designer 2010, 2013 Forms and Workflows development and migration experience.
- 5 Years of Advanced Power Platform skills including PowerApps, Pages, Power Automate and Dataverse (CDS), development experience in modernizing applications built on legacy technologies.
- 5 Years of Creating and maintaining proper documentation related to policies and best practices.
- 5 Years of Maintaining effective working relationships.
- 5 Years of Full time support experience in SharePoint online.
- 5 Years of Programming and customization skills, strong skills in Rest APIs, HTML, CSS in custom development.
- 5 Years of Strong Analytical, organizational and communication skills..
Preferred Skills:
- 5 Years of End user training
- 3 Years of PowerShell Experience
- 3 Years of Power BI Experience
