Job Description :

The Financial Analyst provides operational and financial analysis to the Ambulatory Surgery (ASD) operational unit leaders and senior leadership. The Financial Analyst generates and delivers monthly financial reports, report key financial statistics and assists business unit leaders in managing information effectively to optimize departmental efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities :

Assist in monthly financial statement review and analysis.
Support Regional CFOs SVPs, VPOs and ASC Administration in all facets of the annual budget process.
Preparation of and hoc reports using Business Object queries and Excel Pivot tables, Vlookups etc.
Supervise Contract Analyst in the coordination of the upside contract management system.
Prepare quarterly partnership financial reports.

Skills & Abilities :

Financial analysis skills- knowledge of research techniques sufficient to collect and interpret data.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and Business Objects.

Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell and transcribe correctly.

Communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.

Customer Service- establishes and maintains long term customer relationships, building trust and respect meeting or exceeding expectations.

Interpersonal Skills- able to work effectively with other employees and external parties.

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.

Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.

3-5 years experience in a financial analysis role required.

Must have extensive experience in doing reports, using EXCEL.
