Job Summary
This Sports staff must be knowledge in two of the three core sports (T-Ball, Soccer andor Flag Football). If the staff member is not knowledge but willing to learn this may be a job for you. The sports staff will participate as an coach, offical or instructor for any of the programs which are short staff on Saturday. As a staff member you are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
Responsibilities
- Set up and Breakdown of Fields
- Act as an official, coach or instructuor for programs who are short staff.
- Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
