What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Urbana Sports Coordinator position at i9 Sports Frederick County?
This job works every Saturday for 6 weeks starting 4/5 for the Spring Season Programs. There is a mandatory training required to work the Spring season in March. Prior to the start of the season, the Sports Coordinator will work anywhere between 5 - 10 hours week days leading up to opening day(hours are felxiable). Duties are listed below, but not limited to:

Looking for a part-time position working with kids and sports? We are looking for a Sports Coordinators to manage either i9 Sports program: Flag Football, Baseball/Tball or Soccer. We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a high potential individual to aid in the implementation of our youth sports leagues.
Under the direction of the Site Manager or Area Developer, the Sport Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sport Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skills levels.
- Sport specific expertise in Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball or Baseball
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to efficiently solve problems
- Extremely reliable and responsible
- Ability to motivate and manage others (i.e. coaches)
- Ability to take charge of any situation that involves the safety of players
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to work Saturdays for the entire season and available for a weekday conference call

Duties
- Prior to season - Creating Coaches Bags learning about all programs at the Urbana location, Attending Parent Meetings (evening times), Coach the Coaches at the Coaches Clinic, Develop Creative ways to enhance program performance
- During Season - Complete Field Manager Checklist, Make sure programs are executing at a execellent performance, work with Site Manager, Check In Coaches, Assist with Field Manage with Site Coordinator, Anlyze Program progress for growth and better performance
