Overview:
As an i9 Sports Site Manager & Community Outreach Specialist, you will play a dual role: ensuring a positive, organized, and professional game-day experience while actively promoting i9 Sports within the community. You will lead on-site league operations, cultivate the i9 Sports culture, and strengthen our local presence through marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
League Site Management
- Create the i9 Sports Experience:
- Ensure the on-field experience is organized, positive, fun, and professional for participants, coaches, and parents.
- Game Day Operations:
- Set up and break down equipment before and after events.
- Keep the event on schedule and address any timing or logistical challenges.
- Monitor all aspects of play, ensuring safety and adherence to the i9 Sports Program Guide.
- Step in to coach or referee games when needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, parents, and officials through clear, consistent and positive communication.
- Administrative Duties:
- File incident reports, restock supplies, and maintain documentation (e.g., rosters, schedules).
- Be prepared with venue guides, rule books, and staff contact information.
- Leadership & Engagement:
- Be positive, enthusiastic, and highly visible, fostering a welcoming environment for all participants and families.
Community Marketing & Outreach
- Brand Awareness:
- Build i9 Sports’ presence by distributing flyers to local businesses, schools, and community centers across the North Metro and other areas as reqired.
- Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain connections with local organizations and businesses to increase our member base and drive awareness of i9 Sports programs.
- Event Representation:
- Represent i9 Sports at community events and fairs to showcase programs and engage with families.
- Strategic Marketing:
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue opportunities for increased visibility and enrollment.
Qualifications:
- Passion for youth sports and community engagement.
- General knowledge or comfortability with sports rules.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturdays required), with potential shifts on Sundays and weeknights.
- Comfortable with physical activity, including standing for long hours, setting up fields and carrying supplies.
- Experience in sports management, customer service, or marketing is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in the community.
Schedule & Availability:
Site Manager:
- Site Manager Shifts can range from 4 - 8 hours and average around 6 hours in duration.
- Saturday availability is required, with additional opportunities on Sundays and weeknights.
- Participation in at least three seasons (out 6 per year) is required.
Community Outreach:
- Must be able to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week anytime between 10AM-7PM, Sunday-Friday.
- Reliable transportation to and from marketing efforts.
- Ability to spend time in multiple communities across the metro.
- Majority of work will take place in-person, no office work.
