Pricing Specialist

Job Description

You’re responsible for the building of all deal/producer-specific pricing for the presentation and installation of iAAWG’s products. The team maximizes efficiency to ensure timely preparation and support of Sales Account Executives, the Deal Support Team, and the Install Team. The Pricing Team partners closely with teams within Product Development, Risk, and Programs and Rates to ensure that pricing is built accurately, consistently, and in a way that can be easily used by cross-functional partners.

Your Focus

• Prepare all pricing using schema and inputs from cross-functional partners, regardless of internal admin system.
• Maintain appropriate templates, tools, and records for the creation and curation of pricing, including standard and special pricing.
• Support various teams with pricing queries, validation, and adjustments as needed.
• Support the creation of complex/large-scale pricing to support new product creation and/or complex pricing scenarios.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
• Experience using tools/apps (pricing or otherwise) that support the intake, manipulation, and output of data in a repeatable process.
• Experience in a sales or sales support role.
• Associate degree or commensurate experience.

• Product knowledge – general.
• Understanding of pricing, its parts, and how they are built.
• Profit participation knowledge (e.g. reinsurance, profit sharing, DOWC, etc.).
• Ability to pause and come back to one piece of work when needed to prioritize another piece of work.
• Comfort working with a sense of urgency and process rigor.
• Ability to understand and ask for all inputs needed to complete a task.
• Reasons numerically with an ability to craft formulas in MS Excel with an eye for data validation.
• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Comfort with learning new technology platforms (or other tools) to support the work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
