12-hour shifts, 6 am- 6 pm (36 hours/week) - (Monday to Thursday).
Job Description:
The Web Press Lead Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of a Web Press with emphasis on safety, productivity, quality, and good housekeeping.
Read, understand, and ensure the accurate execution of the entire work order of every job and including the successful resolution of all discrepancies.
Make ready according to production schedule, check colour content of the job running, and notify manager/supervisor of issues, violations, or errors.
Ensure the press has all required resources including scheduled maintenance and supplies and that maintenance activities are thoroughly accomplished and documented.
Maintain a list of all maintenance needed to ensure proper running of the press.
Ensure the correct information concerning press runs, paper consumption, and waste information entered into the computer.
Direct the work of the Second Press Operator, including training and support as needed.
See that all running samples are pulled, inspected, and initialled.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
