The Role and Opportunity : We are seeking an Experience Coordinator to join our growing team who will perform critical functions and assist the Salon Director with business operations. In addition, this person will be a major contributor to various aspects of the business, and will work cross functionally with other teams and stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, and will have the opportunity to own and implement many processes across their business area of responsibility and the salon as a whole. Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Engage clients as the first and last point of contact on the client journey, including scheduling and updating client appointments, and closing out clients after their appointments
- Assist with the operations of the front desk, including answering questions and providing guidance in-person, through phone calls, and responding to texts and emails
- Oversee one of the salon’s business areas, while having a thorough understanding of all salon services and related products
- Serve as a subject matter expert for one of the salon’s business areas, including inventory management, cycle counts and internal controls for retail products, backbar products, beverages and general supplies
- Attend required trainings and meetings with a focus on compliance of policies and procedures to ensure the salon is operating in a safe and sanitary environment
- Lead the salon opening and closing procedures, including assisting with the daily morning and closing line-up meetings
- Collaborate with peers and follow protocols to manage the daily operations, including the laundry, overall tidiness of the salon and restocking the refrigerator with beverages
- Comply with and enforce salon policies and standard operating procedures
- Review processes and procedures to identify areas of improvement throughout the salon on an ongoing basis
- Communicate with vendors to schedule services and order products as necessary
- Review and update client records, including inserting proper notes in client records for future tracking
- Develop internal and external cross functional partnerships with service providers, vendors, other Experience Coordinators and the Salon Director
