We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support within a medical setting, ensuring smooth operations in our clinic environment. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the clinic's calendar.
- Review care plans and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
- Handle emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain patient files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for data entry and management.
- Support medical receptionists with daily administrative tasks as needed.
- Oversee the Office Assistant and Medical Assistant tasks and communication to ensure efficiency
- Maintaining and organizing continuing education requirements for staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices and terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of care plans and their implementation in a clinical setting is beneficial.
