Summary of Duties:
Responsible for managing the Revenue Departments, including but not limited to; Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Midway Games & Arcade, Retail Shops and Warehouse. The Revenue Manager will establish programs to achieve efficiency and responsiveness of the Revenue & Entertainment Departments. This position is responsible for developing and leading a high performing team, increasing financial sustainability through budget control, labor optimization, inventory management and waste/loss minimization while growing revenue generation by means of increasing overall in park spending and per caps through exceeding Guest expectations in delivering quality products and efficient service while achieving the highest levels of safety in the industry.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable to the business needs, have the skill set and ability to perform administrative tasks but also work in the field, be adept to training a team and possess strong communication skills to maintain open lines of communication between departments within the property in addition to communications with contractors, vendors and other third parties. This position typically requires 75% of time to be spent in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, coordinate and directly oversee the Revenue Department Employees, in addition to,
communication and coordination with vendors and other associated third parties. Supervise, train and develop
Revenue Employees.
• Ensure the safety of the property and compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and company codes,
standards and procedures including, but not limited to; ADA, CDC, NYS Department of Health, NYS Department
of Labor, OSHA, and internal safety procedures, particularly as they pertain to food & health safety.
• Implement strategies to grow revenue and profitability for in-park spending departments. Improve profitability
through the growth of resale revenue along with expense, inventory and waste/loss control and labor management.
• Work with the Maintenance Department to ensure equipment and food services facilities and equipment are
professionally maintained, and downtime is minimized.
• Complete, maintain and verify required documentation; including Opening & Closing Daily Inspections,
Temperature Logs, Waste Logs and training documentation.
• Oversee Warehouse operations, maintaining appropriate levels of property revenue inventory to ensure products
are consistently available while minimizing loss from product expiration.
• Ensure adequate daily staffing levels and adherence to daily operational schedules, including rest & meal breaks,
ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.
• Ensure Revenue Department is in “open-ready” condition prior to park opening hour daily.
• Be property subject matter expert of Point-of-Sale system as it pertains to inventory management and transaction
processing.
• Protect company assets through proper use of facilities and equipment and the adherence to the standard of overall
cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Administrative responsibilities to include, but not be limited to; hiring, scheduling, coaching, payroll, inventory
control, ordering & invoice processing and record keeping.
• Develop, review and maintain budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the General Manager.
• Establish goals and objectives for the department and track follow-through to ensure attainment.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships within the Revenue Department, other members of
Leadership within the organization and 3rd parties.
• Other duties as needed and/or assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED supplemented by a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, tourism,
culinary, retail, business, beverage programming, or an equivalent combination of education, training and
experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to efficiently
manage time and work without direct supervision.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be available to travel occasionally.
• Must have a valid ServSafe & TIPS Certification or ability to obtain within the first six months of employment.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, conflict resolution, crisis management and organizational skills. Must be
detail oriented with a high sense of urgency and possess the ability to manage administrative records and ensure
compliance with local authorities having jurisdiction and governing bodies.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and successfully work under pressure.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen, credit check and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
Salary Range: $59K - $65K per year
Salary : $59,000 - $65,000
