Job Summary: Avangrid seeks an experienced Benefits Manager to join its Benefits and Retirement team. This individual will be responsible for the administration, operation, compliance, and strategic oversight of the company's health and welfare benefit plans, as well as absence management programs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements, leave management laws, and managing absence programs. They must also have experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations and communicating with cross-functional audiences and internal stakeholders.

- Review, develop, and implement flexible and holistic benefits programs that are diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
- Ensure benefits plans and absence management policies are fully compliant with all federal and state requirements.
- Oversee the administration and operation of the active and retiree health & welfare plans to ensure operational continuity, effective cost management, and high-quality service levels for employees and retirees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience focused on the operation and administration of health & welfare plans and programs for active employees and retirees.
- 5 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
